For me, the answer was always clear—I was going to be a teacher. From a young age, I pursued every opportunity to work with children, starting with babysitting for neighbors, then working in daycare centers and as a camp counselor. This passion led me to become a certified teacher, where I’ve worn many hats, from working with children with special needs to challenging advanced students, serving as a classroom teacher, and eventually, a principal.

Throughout my journey, I have always believed that every child is special and capable of learning. My passion lies in recognizing the unique qualities of each student and creating personalized educational experiences that allow them to thrive. Whether it’s helping a student who needs extra support to catch up or providing advanced challenges to a gifted learner, I am dedicated to nurturing each child’s potential.

As a mom of three amazing kids, I’ve learned that every child learns differently, and it’s this understanding that drives my commitment to individualized education. My greatest joy comes from working directly with students and their families—observing, evaluating, and uncovering the strengths that make each student unique. By focusing on these strengths, I help students overcome challenges, build confidence, and discover their love for learning.

I began private tutoring in high school and have continued throughout my teaching career, with a focus on reading and math for students in preschool through elementary grades. No matter where a student starts, I firmly believe in their ability to grow, succeed, and become enthusiastic learners ready to take on the world.
